Alison is a native of Cleveland graduating from Mentor High School in 1996.  She worked in Independence as she attended an accelerated two year college program for Advanced Dental Assisting at the Cleveland Institute of Dental/ Medical Assistants at the Mentor Campus.  Alison has ten years of hands-on experience working with patients of all ages.  Six of the years include working side-by-side with Dr. Rebecca.  She is Radiology licensed with the Ohio State Dental Board, is certified in First Aid, CPR and is recognized by the National Safety Council for blood-borne pathogen awareness and prevention. 

Alison resides in Parma and enjoys staying active by cooking and exercising, boating and hiking with her husband Tom and two dogs, Bailey and Peyton.  She is passionate about easing patients’ fears and helping the Doctor provide gentle, long-lasting and innovative dentistry.  Alison began her first two-and-a-half years with the Practice as Dr. Swertloff’s Dental Assistant and was promoted to her new role as Front Office Manager in the fall of 2014.
